This is my double kerria blooming against the wall of my house. I brought a frozen clump of this with me
when we moved in early March '08. For more of that huge garden, go to:
Flowers I Have Grown
At the corner of my doorway
The lavender and yellow iris in the pictures above and below were growing outside an antique shop in Delmont
and I parked to get out and take a few shots of them as I'm quite fond of bearded iris.
Seapinks by my front entrance
Above and below: mixed clematis on my light pole
Above and below: the unusual honeysuckle I brought from my old garden
My hand to show how large the clematis blossoms are
Above and below: the iris that planted itself right in the middle of my Jerusalem Cross plant in my old garden.
I managed to dig up the frozen clump to bring it with me when we moved. The Jerusalem Cross bloomed in
both the springs of '08 and '09, but this is the first year my iris has bloomed. It made three flowers!!
Two peonies from my garden here
Above and the 2 below: my pink filipendula (also known as meadowsweet), which I brought from my old
garden. I love all the shades of pink it gets at once.
Joe Pye weed...is now blooming all along the roadways out in the country here. They make huge plants and
each of these flower heads is nearly a foot across.
